Luckily for working individuals, Powerhouse Gym stays open late, generally closing at 10 pm during the week. Naturally, the hours are shortened slightly during the weekend. The gym opens at 8 am, rather than 5 am; they close at 8 pm on Saturdays and at 7 pm on Sundays. The Powerhouse hours offer plenty of options for any gym-goer to find time to exercise.
Powerhouse Gym Locations
Headquartered in Highland Park, Michigan, this gym is most dense in the Midwest and the Eastern part of the United States, but there are locations in 33 states, and 17 countries worldwide. If you’re a Michigander, you’re in luck, because Michigan boasts almost thirty of these gyms, though the hours vary slightly from location to location. In Ypsilanti, for example, the gym is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for its loyal members, although it’s only staffed between the hours of 7am and 10pm during the week, or 8 am to 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. When you visit their Facebook page, you’ll sometimes see promotions or deals for members and non-members alike. Recently, they promoted their new salsa class on Mondays at 7:30pm, exemplifying the wide diversity and options these gyms offer.
If you’re on the East Coast instead, there are plenty of options to choose from. Plattsburgh, New York, for example, has different hours from the ones you see in the chart above, opening at 4am and closing at midnight during the week, open from 6am until 9pm on Saturdays, and open between 7am until 6pm on Sundays.
