Their monthly memberships come at different rates, depending on the level of access you want to have to LA Fitness centers. For those who are interesting in only a single locations, a monthly memberships is on $29.95 there is also no initiation fee for this One Club Access option.
Nationwide access is available in three different options
Option A cost $29.95 per month, with an initiation fee of $99.
Option B costs $34.95 per month, with and initiation fee of $49.
Option C costs $39.95 per month, with no initiation fee.
With every monthly membership with nationwide access, you can add a second person to your membership for a discounted rate. It costs $29.95 per month for the second person, with an initiation fee of only $25.
LA Fitness great prices aren’t limited to just monthly memberships. Annual memberships are available for those looking for a longer commitment, and come with state-wide and nationwide options.
Annual state-wide memberships cost $458.40 for 12 month contracts. There is also a 36 month contract option, which allows further savings, costing only $718.
Annual nationwide access is available on both 12 and 36 month contracts also, costing $638.40 and $718 respectively.
Its history dates back to 1984, when the company was founded by Chin Yi NS Louis Welch, who today operate as Chairman and CEO and President and CEO respectively. They opened their first complex in Los Angeles California, and by the mid-90s had seen expansive growth due to their approach, involving buying up run down complexes, remodelling them under their image and reopening them.
In 1995 they opened a multipurpose complex that still serves as their signature model today. IT contains the standard strength and cardio equipment, free weights and exercise rooms that are prevalent in most gyms. However they decided to add more variety, adding swimming pools and court sports offering more than standard gyms, a key aspect of their success.
This would lead to an even more rapid growth, with more complexes opening throughout the country. In its first ten years, LA fitness now had dozens of fitness clubs, and by 2009 there was more than 180 clubs added, all varying in size.
IN their first 20 years of operations, LA Fitness has seen a massive increase in size and stature. The top of the rate equipment along with the various activities possible at their fitness club has seen them remain popular, and along with its great prices, it shows no signs of slowing down
